Erodatools earns Made in Sheffield Accreditation

Erodatools are delighted to have received the prestigious “Made in Sheffield” mark, signifying membership in a globally recognised elite network of regional producers celebrated for engineering excellence and manufacturing innovation.

The Made in Sheffield mark represents one of the world’s great symbols of industrial quality and origin and reflects the city’s rich manufacturing heritage of high-quality products. It is exclusively for manufacturers and businesses in the Sheffield City Region and is granted only to businesses which fulfil strict quality standards and continue to uphold the regions historic reputation for world-leading precision and innovation.

Erodatools is a second-generation family business that is now recognised as one of the leading specialists in the field for Electrical Discharge Machining (wire and spark erosion) in the region, and more recently since 2020 now offer CNC milling and turning to complement their services.

Based in Penistone, near Sheffield Erodatools have spent over 40 years delivering precision engineering solutions to a wide range of industrial sectors, including Aerospace, Marine, Automotive, Rail, Defence and Military and Gas and Oil exploration.

Erodatools are also ISO 9001 2015 certified to ensure that the highest working practices and standards of safety are consistently upheld.
